What's in a name..
The name Shison comes from a loose Japanese translation of my English family surname Sisson. Born in Canada to an English father and Japanese mother I was blessed with a name that doesn't exactly match my appearance. My brother after working in Japan for many years and as a great sign of respect was gifted a hanko by his employer, a Japanese signature stamp with the name Shi-son engraved on it. It's been our own personal Japanese family name ever since. It roughly translates to 'Respect the 🦁!', which also led to my logo.
