A lidded pot made from black walnut and padauk. The outside is finished with a glossy shellac finish while the inside is finished with a food safe oil and wax. Can be used for trinkets, dry goods or nearly anything. The lid is a little tight but will listen with use. A fingernail groove helps with opening it.

Black walnut lidded pot with padauk collar

It’s quite simply beautiful and I love it. The lid remains a little too snug in truth but it may well loosen in time. The bits arrived from across the pond beautifully packed and wrapped and so I have no hesitation in recommending Shisonwood
