A beautifully figured lidded black walnut jar with matching lid. The lid was made from a piece of sapwood cut from the main black and though it shares the same incredible figure it's color is pale and bright in comparison. The rim of the lid was ebonized for contrast and it's topped with a small ball top pull. Finished with a glossy shellac this little beauty is a real eye catcher.
