This large birch burl piece was carved by hand leaving the outside all natural. With flowing curves that follow the natural outer shape it has an almost oyster like appearance. Despite it's slightly rough appearance the outside has been cleaned up and sealed and is nearly as smooth as the inside which has been polished to a mother of pearl like shine! Finished with food safe oil and wax this piece is more decorative than practical and also includes two different stands to display it however you like.
