Shallow figured maple dish

This shallow dish was turned from a beautifully figured piece of hard maple. The figuring gives it a tiger stripe sort of pattern that looks different from every angle. It's finished with a satiny oil and wax finish so it can be used as a serving dish or as a decorative piece.
